Dave’s relationship with art is not going well, in more ways than one. In one half of this play, he struggles to navigate the minefield of modern LGBTQ+ relationships with his boyfriend. In the other, he tries to justify being an artist to notable presences in his life ranging from his mum to his (prospective) agent. Travelling from a gay club to a church, a coffee shop to a cemetery and incorporating movement and music throughout, this play is as funny as it is poignant and as universal as it is personal.
