After their death, Jude wakes up in a waiting room located on the upper east side of the afterlife. They are shortly greeted by an omniscient figure who offers a cup of tea and an impossible question: you are allowed 10 minutes back on earth – where would you like to go? What Goes on Without Me is a serio-comic piece about regret, relish and reconciliation. Faced with a time limit (and an irritating list of stipulations), Jude must grapple with the unthinkable task of producing the perfect conclusion to their imperfect time on earth.
