June 8th 2018 at 9:37pm
Not only do we present the most diverse programme at the Fringe, we're also very pleased to offer some of the Festival's most stylish and popular pop-up bars. Always recommended in lists of the best bars to spend an afternoon or evening in between shows...
Sips in the City: Niddry St
You couldn't be more central! Tucked away (off the Royal Mile) outside theSpace @ Niddry St, and next door to theSpace on the Mile this busy bar offers all the real Fringe experience at the hub of the Festival. With the rich tapestry of numerous venues on its doorstep, the bar offers a bustling buzz on Old Town's party street; a live music stage adds to the ambience.
theSpace @ Surgeons Hall: Courtyard Bar
The smartest outdoor bar in town, adjacent to our very stylish venue on Nicholson St, the bar offers a fabulous courtyard setting with the historic buildings of the Royal College surrounding a 200 cover space. With 7 busy performance spaces in the close vicinity, this bustling bar really is in the centre of the modern Festival. Add to that the great food and super drink deals, its a must for any seasoned fringe goer.
Hill Square Garden Bar: Hill Square
Just around the corner from theSpace @ Surgeons' Hall—and now in its 3rd year—we present the Hill Square Garden Bar. Step away from the herd and sit in the elegance of one of Edinburgh's historic squares. Enjoy a relaxed glass of something fizzy or a G+T and a slice. A relaxing bar and gardens to quench that thirst in between shows. Outside theSpace @ Symposium Hall, it's an absolute must for the sophisticated Festival goer.
